With today’s Internet search tools, instructional designers, developers, instructors, teachers, and students can research and consume vast quantities of instructional resources, such as photos and videos. One requirement, however, is that they understand intellectual property and follow copyright laws. Bonnie Taylor, our October ELL speaker, will talk about documenting assets in elearning content, which can be addressed along a spectrum of expertise from “I have no idea what the difference is between copyright and licensing” to “how to decode what the legal department is telling you about your e-learning content.”
To address this, Bonnie proposes the following objectives for our ELL session:
