Pamela Meyer, PhD

Pamela Meyer, PhD is a leading Agile Innovation expert who works with leaders, teams, and organizations that need to be more agile and innovative to compete in a rapidly changing world. Through her in-depth research and expertise in understanding how adults learn to innovate and improvise, along with two decades of working with Fortune 500 to Fortune 50 companies Meyer helps business leaders implement best practices to drive results. Pamela Meyer recognizes that agility is a non-negotiable competence of our time. A thought leader for business success, Meyer is the author of four books on agility, innovation, and learning, including The Agility Shift: Creating Agile and Effective Leaders, Teams and Organizations and From Workplace to Playspace: Innovating, Learning and Changing Through Dynamic Engagement. She has also contributed two chapters to edited books on transformative learning, as well as written numerous articles and papers.

Specializing in leadership and team development, Meyer helped design the new manager training program for T-Mobile, based on The Agility Shift. The program recently received national attention with a silver Brandon Hall HCM Excellence in Learning award in the category of Best Unique or Innovative Learning & Development Program.

A Certified ScrumMaster®, Meyer also helps leaders, teams, and organizations that are adopting agile frameworks to make the necessary mindset and practice shifts to energize engagement and realize results.

In addition to her work with organizations, Pamela Meyer teaches courses in business creativity, organizational change and adult learning at DePaul University, School for New Learning in Chicago, where she served as director of the Center to Advance Education for Adults and Faculty Fellow at the Center for Creativity and Innovation, part of the Driehaus College of Business and the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.

When not speaking or consulting, Pamela maintains her own agility through amateur ski racing. She is a two-time NASTAR slalom champion and 2018 Giant Slalom gold medalist in her division.

Andrea Corpening, APTD

The Delicate Art of Leading Change to Drive Innovation

Andrea Corpening, APTD was a college graduate of Florida State University and a bank branch manager all by the age of 20. Andrea is no stranger to raising the bar. As a certified professional in Talent Development through the Association for Talent Development, Andrea helps businesses across the U.S. reach new levels of performance by maximizing their talent, developing strong leaders, and through innovative people strategies. She is also certified in DISC Behavioral Styles and Motivators.

In realizing true success comes from developing others, Andrea used her natural flair for entertaining to make learning fun and interactive throughout her career as a Bank Manager, Corporate Trainer, Training Manager, and Director of Retail and Training.

After becoming a military spouse, Andrea's husband received orders to Ottawa, Canada in 2014. Because of Andrea's extensive background, she was selected to work as an assistant for the U.S. Ambassador to Canada. During that time, where she worked with key U.S. and Canadian government officials, celebrities, and other well-known professionals. She received a Meritorious Honor Award from the U.S. State Department for her role in increasing U.S./Canada relations.

In 2018, Andrea launched her own training and consulting business, Elite Business Performance, LLC to make employee development programs available to small businesses but in an affordable way. She now balances the demands of life as a wife, mother, and entrepreneur.

Matthew Daniel

The Learner Experience Matters: Preparing for the Learners of Tomorrow

Matthew Daniel is a high-energy, no-holds-barred, tell-it-like-it-is learning consultant and technologist working in and with some of the largest and most innovative companies across the country through his consultancy – The Learner Collective. While he's implemented LMSs, LCMSs, Social Learning Platforms, and Curation Tools– his biggest success comes not in the implementation of the system, but in helping learning professionals figure out how to take their existing skills and experience and adapt to the digital age in a realistic way.

Matthew believes in building incredible learning experiences, not just events or courses – that all begins with good instructional design, but it has to be wrapped in incredible user experience. Prior to implementing learning systems, Matthew was an instructional designer who built large-scale new hire and upskill programs for organizations like Nike, Cigna Healthcare, Microsoft, Homeland Security, the DoD, Honeywell, Valero, and ExxonMobil.

Today, Matthew works with learning software companies on product design, consults on learning transformation, and inspires learning professionals to adopt new technologies and create amazing experiences to transform the lives of our learners.


Jesus "Jesse" Diaz

Making Apple Pie with AI: Learning in the Workplace with your Digital Assistant

Jesse Diaz has over 22 years of experience working in information technology and instructional systems. Currently, he works as the leader for the Alamo Colleges human resources TMS team, administering the Cornerstone OnDemand TMS and designing online learning solutions for internal customers by maintaining and deploying employee learning systems, running advanced reports using big-data analytical tools, directing a team of instructional designers, and advising executive leadership on related strategic initiatives.

Previously, Jesse was the IT Manager for American Payroll Association where he managed all IT operations and projects. He upgraded the 15 year old network and phone systems as well as led technology training efforts for all employees.

Joni D. Goodman, CPLP

Joni D. Goodman, CPLP

As a top Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP), Joni strives to make a difference in the lives of others by tapping into a client's potential and igniting them in their greatness for success. She has over 20 years in the learning and development space where Joni has delivered Miller Heiman's Conceptual and Strategic Selling programs, DISC/PIAV behavioral styles instruction, and Situational Leadership amongst a variety of other Professional Development curriculum. What she does best: Joni is a game changing executive coach. She is a captivating speaker and an engaging and approachable facilitator. Joni creates appealing learning engagements and holds herself to a gold standard in performance consulting, as well as, in the planning and production of sales meetings/events to a wide variety of audiences. Her experience encompasses effective management development, sales training, mentoring, and executive coaching.

Joni very much enjoys being active in the National Speaker's Association and she is the President for the Association for Talent Development (ATD) Houston chapter. She is also a member and facilitator for the ATD national organization and gives back by volunteering her time with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Kim Gutierrez

Matthew Kutz, PhD

Creating a Culture of Innovation in an Age of Uncertainty

Matthew Kutz, PhD is a Fulbright Scholar in the Medical Sciences, award-winning researcher, award-winning author, entrepreneur, TEDX speaker, Certified DISC Consultant, and former LEAPS Keynote Speaker. He is passionate about helping others achieve high-level leadership and organizational performance. He is tenured faculty at Bowling Green State University in Ohio and Visting Research Fellow at Griffith University (Brisbane, Australia) with a PhD in Global Leadership. His book on Contextual Intelligence was a Leadership Book Award honoree for Innovation and Cutting-Edge perspective.

He is also the author of several leadership books. In addition to his books, he has published several textbook chapters and dozens of scholarly manuscripts. Matt developed the Contextual Intelligence Profile™ and is very active in leadership consulting and corporate leadership development. He has worked with multinational and Fortune 500 organizations including Procter & Gamble, Queensland Health (in Australia), Marathon Petroleum Company, Airtel Ltd, ProMedica Health Systems, The Cleveland Clinic, IMS (Institute for Management Studies), World Relief, and many more.

Bonnie Moore

Bonnie Moore is passionate about leading and learning. She has extensive experience in leadership development, executive coaching, instructional design and team dynamics in a diverse set of industries including: corporate, non- profit and education. Her global clients appreciate the innovation and excitement she brings, as they grow professionally and personally. Holding three master's degrees, Bonnie has been awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award from Michigan State University and Volunteer of the Year from the International and Houston Councils of the Blind and other awards. Bonnie belongs a number of professional organizations and has served in leadership capacities for many of them. She currently is a National Advisor for Chapters for the Association of Talent Development, Fall Conference Chair for ATD Houston and Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, Texas 2nd Vice President. She serves as a Child Advocate for Harris County, a Big Sister and on several non-profit boards in the Houston area making a positive impact for individuals, families and the community. When not working and volunteering, she and her husband Greg like to travel, watch college sports and enjoy the fine arts.

Mark Murphy

The Impact of Unconscious Bias in the Workplace

Mark Murphy has been with FranklinCovey for 27 years, and loves the job because he can connect with clients, understand their culture and learning objectives, and then help them create well-tailored solutions that align with their culture and longterm objectives. Linda Salazar

Linda Salazar is on a mission to save the world from bad training, one class at a time. She began her career as a software instructor in September 1996. Since then, Linda has held many jobs in the training industry including soft skills trainer, orientation leader, instructional designer, leadership program facilitator, department chair, learning program manager, and Udemy instructor. Her participants learn and have a great time doing it.

Linda's specialty is designing and delivering live, virtual classes. She earned the Virtual Trainer Facilitator certification in 2011 and has been using her skills to design and deliver effective, engaging courses.
