Leaders are always excited to discover how to engage adults and create a culture of learning.

Imagine a workforce of adults who work 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in the heat of summer and the cold snaps of winter to help over a million people a year?

Centro is a non-profit organization who in partnership with Haven for Hope and SAPD's to provide the Gateway Program to provide care for the underpasses leading to downtown San Antonio. Centro's mission is to mobilize people and resources to build a more prosperous downtown and has hired 110 ambassadors from Haven for Hope since 2010.

In the Monthly Learning Meeting you will learn how Centro:

  • Manages the training program for its Ambassadors
  • Initiates workforce development opportunities
  • Designs effective training curriculum
  • Deepens community partnerships
  • Reflects on lessons learned
